Texas High School Softball - Chapel Hill bested by Hughes Springs

The Hughes Springs Mustangs triumphed over the visiting Chapel Hill Red Devils softball squad by a count of 14-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX) in a 3A Region II District 15 challenge, on Friday, March 21. Hughes Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 9-5 league loss to Jefferson (Jefferson, TX).

The Red Devils (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX). The Tigers enter the 3A Region II District 15 challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Daingerfield was routed by New Diana (Diana, TX), 6-0, in a league challenge.
