Mississippi High School Softball - Rosa Fort bested by Clarksdale

The Clarksdale Wildcats triumphed over the host Rosa Fort Lions softball squad by a count of 20-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats play the Lafayette Commodores (Oxford, MS) in a 5A Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, March 20. Clarksdale will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Commodores enter the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 12-2 non-league win over West Union (Myrtle, MS).

The Lions (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Water Valley (Water Valley, MS). The Blue Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Water Valley was routed by Bruce (Bruce, MS), 12-0, in a league challenge.
