The Clinton Yellowjackets overwhelmed the visiting Valley Springs Tigers softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 31. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
The Tigers (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR). The Panthers go into the 3A Region 2 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Yellville-Summit was routed by Melbourne (Melbourne, AR), 11-2, in a league challenge.
