Next, the Bulldogs meet the Fairfield Tigers (Fairfield, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 20. Montevallo will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Carver Birmingham (Birmingham, AL).

The Tigers (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Thorsby (Thorsby, AL). The Rebels enter the 3A Area 8 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Thorsby overcame Isabella (Maplesville, AL), 9-4, in a league challenge.
