The Edgewood Lions overwhelmed the host La Puente Warriors softball squad by a count of 24-7 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Charter Oak Chargers (Covina, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 20. Edgewood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Chargers go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Hemet (Hemet, CA).

The Warriors (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ganesha (Pomona, CA). The Giants go into the Miramonte challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Ganesha toppled Pomona (Pomona, CA), 22-1, in a league challenge.
