Louisiana High School Softball - Slaughter Community Charter bounces Episcopal

The Slaughter Community Charter Knights softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Episcopal Knights to 11 in the Knights non-league win on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catholic of Pointe Coupee for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 19. Slaughter Community Charter will confront a Hornets team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Episcopal moves to 4-2 on the season. The Knights host Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the Tigers in a 2A District 6 battle on Thursday, March 20. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 7-3. Dunham lost 8-0 in their recent non-league battle against Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA)
