Alabama High School Softball - Escambia County bounces Hillcrest

March 18, 2025: Atmore, AL 36502

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Escambia County Blue Devils (Atmore, AL) and the visiting Hillcrest Jaguars (Evergreen, AL), observed Escambia County's softball team get by Hillcrest by a tally of 15-9.

The Blue Devils (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Jackson (Jackson, AL). The Aggies go into the 4A Area 2 bout with a 14-3 record. In their last bout, Jackson tipped W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL), 19-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Excel Panthers (Excel, AL) in a 3A Area 3 bout, on Thursday, March 20. Hillcrest will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Straughn (Andalusia, AL).
