The Hokes Bluff Eagles softball squad (Hokes Bluff, AL), was edged 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Etowah Blue Devils (Attalla, AL)

With the triumph, Etowah improves its record to 11-9 on the year. The Blue Devils host Ashville (Ashville, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a 4A Area 11 contest on Thursday, March 20. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 13-6. Ashville won 12-6 in their recent non-league contest against Appalachian (Oneonta, AL)

The Eagles now hold a 12-9 record. They play next when they host Gadsden City for a non-league contest on Friday, March 21. Hokes Bluff will face a Titans squad coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL). The Titans record now stands at 6-14.
