Texas High School Softball - Frost topped by Hico

Hico Tigers (Hico, TX) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Frost Polar Bears (Frost, TX), 15-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Hico upgrades its record to 2-6 on the year. The Tigers host Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX) to play the Eagles in a 1A Region II District 14 game on Wednesday, March 19. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 6-3. Rio Vista won 17-0 in their recent league game against Frost (Frost, TX)

The Polar Bears now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Meridian for a 1A Region II District 14 game on Friday, March 21. Frost will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Italy (Italy, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-4.
