North Carolina High School Softball - Gray's Creek edges South View

March 18, 2025: Hope Mills, NC 28348

The Gray's Creek Bears softball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting South View Tigers to 1 in the Bears league win on Tuesday.

The Bears now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Douglas Byrd for a United Eight 3A/4A battle on Wednesday, March 19. Gray's Creek will confront a Eagles team coming off a 21-0 league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, South View moves to 7-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Midway (Dunn, NC) to confront the Raiders in a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 19. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 3-1. Midway won 8-1 in their recent non-league battle against Harnett Central (Angier, NC)
