The Snyder Tigers overwhelmed the host Lake View Chiefs/Maidens softball squad by a count of 18-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 challenge, on Friday, March 21. Snyder will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Steers go into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 10-0 league loss to Levelland (Levelland, TX).
The Chiefs/Maidens (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Matadors go into the 4A Region I District 5 challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Estacado was routed by Shallowater (Shallowater, TX), 17-2, in a non-league challenge.
