The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA) and the host St. Amant Gators (St. Amant, LA), observed Live Oak's softball team get by St. Amant by a tally of 8-7.

The Eagles (9-8) will now prepare for their bout against Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA). The Broncos go into the non-league bout with a 15-2 record. In their last bout, Sam Houston tipped Acadiana (Lafayette, LA), 12-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Gators battle the Denham Springs Yellowjackets (Denham Springs, LA) in a 5A District 5 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. St. Amant will attempt to advance on its 13-5 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 9-5 league loss to Walker (Walker, LA).
