In Tuesday's non-league test, the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) softball squad the visiting Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons (Madisonville, KY), by a tally of 4-1.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 20. McCracken County will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 2-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Lyon County (Eddyville, KY).
The Maroons (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Livingston Central (Smithland, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Livingston Central held off Calloway County (Murray, KY), 10-0, in a non-league test.
