Arkansas High School Softball - Salem bounces Melbourne

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Salem Greyhounds (Salem, AR) and the host Melbourne Bearkatz (Melbourne, AR), observed Salem's softball team get by Melbourne by a tally of 6-1.

The Greyhounds (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against Bergman (Bergman, AR). The Panthers go into the 3A Region 2 bout with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Bearkatz clash with the Cave City Cavemen (Cave City, AR) in a 3A Region 2 bout, on Thursday, March 20. Melbourne will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Cavemen go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 11-5 non-league win over Calico Rock (Calico Rock, AR).
