The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), observed Monticello's softball team get by Waynesboro by a tally of 6-0.

The Mustangs (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Dukes go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Cumberland was routed by Monticello (Charlottesville, VA), 9-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Little Giants clash with the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 20. Waynesboro will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Flying Flucos go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA).
