The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) and the host Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC), observed Starmount's softball team get by Mount Airy by a tally of 10-3.

The Rams (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Forbush tipped North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 9-2, in a league bout.
