The Western Yell County Wolverines softball team scored 25 runs and held the host Mulberry Yellowjackets to 0 in the Wolverines league win on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caddo Hills for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 20. Western Yell County will confront a Indians team coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Centerpoint (Amity, AR). The Indians record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Mulberry moves to 0-5 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Magazine (Magazine, AR) to confront the Rattlers in a 1A Region 4 battle on Thursday, March 20. The Rattlers come into the battle with a record of 1-2. Magazine lost 11-1 in their recent non-league battle against Booneville (Booneville, AR)
