The Mumford Mustangs triumphed over the host North Zulch Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 21-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Iola Bulldogs (Iola, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Friday, March 21. Mumford will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 12-7 league win over Snook (Snook, TX).
The Bulldogs (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Somerville (Somerville, TX). The Yeguas enter the non-league challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, Somerville overcame Snook (Snook, TX), 12-6, in a league challenge.
