Natchez Bulldogs (Natchez, MS) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS), 17-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Natchez upgrades its record to 8-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to North Pike (Summit, MS) to play the Jaguars in a 5A Region 3 game on Thursday, March 20. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 2-12.

The Blue Waves now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Raymond for a non-league game on Friday, March 21. Port Gibson will play a Rangers squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Lawrence County (Monticello, MS). The Rangers record now stands at 6-3.
