South Carolina High School Softball - Pelion knocked off by Ninety Six

March 18, 2025: Pelion, SC 29123

In Tuesday's league test, the Ninety Six Wildcats (Ninety Six, SC) softball squad overwhelmed the host Pelion Panthers (Pelion, SC), by a count of 17-2.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Ware Shoals Hornets (Ware Shoals, SC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 19. Ninety Six will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Hornets go into the test with a 3-2 record after their 17-7 league loss to Abbeville (Abbeville, SC).

The Panthers (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Saluda (Saluda, SC). The Tigers enter the AA Region 2 game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Saluda defeated Barnwell (Barnwell, SC), 8-3, in a non-league game.
