Louisiana High School Softball - St. James Patterson

The Patterson Lumberjacks the visiting St. James Wildcats softball squad by a count of 9-6 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Lumberjacks meet the Berwick Panthers (Berwick, LA) in a 3A District 8 challenge, on Thursday, March 20. Patterson will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 24-14 non-league win over New Iberia (New Iberia, LA).

The Wildcats (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Covenant Christian Academy edged Centerville (Centerville, LA), 16-2, in a league challenge.
