In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Wayne County Cardinals softball team scored a nice 17-0 victory over the Pickett County Bobcats.

The Cardinals (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Somerset (Somerset, KY). The Briar Jumpers go into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Somerset was routed by Madison Central (Richmond, KY), 5-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Gordonsville Tigers (Gordonsville, TN) in a 1A District 7 match, on Thursday, March 20. Pickett County will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers go into the match with a 7-1 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Coffee County Central (Manchester, TN).
