California High School Softball - Polytechnic bounces Rio Hondo Prep

The Polytechnic Panthers softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Rio Hondo Prep Kares to 0 in the Panthers league win on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mayfield for a Prep battle on Thursday, March 20. Polytechnic will confront a Cubs team coming off a 14-6 league loss to Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA). The Cubs record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Rio Hondo Prep moves to 3-1 on the season. The Kares travel to Westridge (Pasadena, CA) to confront the Tigers in a Prep battle on Wednesday, March 19. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 3-1. Westridge lost 16-2 in their recent non-league battle against Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA)
