The Rockport-Fulton Pirates triumphed over the visiting Sinton Pirates softball squad by a count of 12-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Pirates play the Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. Rockport-Fulton will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Sandcrabs enter the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 11-5 league win over Jones (Beeville, TX).

The Pirates (5-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Lyford (Lyford, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Lyford overcame Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX), 16-0, in a league challenge.
