Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the visiting Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA), 12-1 in a league game.

The Atoms (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Edison (Alexandria, VA). The Eagles go into the National game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Edison was overwhelmed by Langley (McLean, VA), 4-3, in a non-league game.

In their next game, the Lancers battle the Falls Church Jags (Falls Church, VA) in a National match, on Monday, March 23. Lewis will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Jags come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 10-0 league loss to Edison (Alexandria, VA).
