The Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA) softball routed the visiting Fulton Jaguars (Van Nuys, CA), 22-13 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Vikings now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Canoga Park for a East Valley bout on Friday, March 20. Monroe will clash with a Hunters team coming off a 19-0 league loss to Sylmar (Sylmar, CA). The Hunters record now stands at 0-5.

In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the North Hollywood Huskies (North Hollywood, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 20. Fulton will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 17-4 non-league loss to Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA).
