The Stephens County Indians baseball team (Toccoa, GA), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA)
The Lions now hold a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe Area for a AAA Region 8 outing on Tuesday, March 23. Franklin County will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 5-10.
Next, the Indians confront the Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) in a AAA Region 8 outing, on Tuesday, March 23. Stephens County will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 11-4 record after their 15-1 league win over East Jackson (Commerce, GA).
