In Saturday's non-league game, the host Bob Jones Patriots baseball team scored a tight 11-8 victory over the North Jackson Chiefs.
The Patriots (16-6) will now prepare for their game against Baylor (Chattanooga, TN). The Red Raiders go into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Baylor tipped Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA), 7-0, in a non-league game.
The Chiefs (7-7) will now prepare for their game against Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL). The Titans go into the non-league game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Gadsden City by Piedmont (Piedmont, AL), 11-4, in a non-league game.
