In Saturday's non-league game, the host La Cueva Bears baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Sandia Matadors.
The Bears (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Los Lunas tipped Valencia (Los Lunas, NM), 9-8, in a non-league game.
The Matadors (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 13-1 record.
