The Bishop Diego Cardinals volleyball team (Santa Barbara, CA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Santa Ynez Pirates (Santa Ynez, CA)

The Pirates (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Carpinteria (Carpinteria, CA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Carpinteria defeated Hueneme (Oxnard, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals encounter the Foothill Tech Dragons (Ventura, CA) in a Tri-Valley challenge, on Tuesday, March 22. Bishop Diego will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Dunn (Los Olivos, CA).
