West Virginia High School Lacrosse - John Marshall overwhelms Capital

The John Marshall Monarchs lacrosse team scored 12 points and held the host Capital Cougars to 2 in the Monarchs league win on Saturday.
The Monarchs (1-3) will now prepare for their match against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Red Dragons go into the WVSLA - West match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, St. Albans knocked off Harrison County (Clarksburg, WV), 14-4, in a league contest.
The Cougars now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Fairmont Senior for a WVSLA - East contest on Saturday, March 19. Capital will confront a Polar Bears squad coming off a 17-2 non-league win over Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 1-0.
