New Mexico High School Softball - Sandia bounces Albuquerque

The Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) softball routed the visiting Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM), 11-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Matadors (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 5-5 record. In their last bout, Cibola was routed by Manzano (Albuquerque, NM), 12-2, in a non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Farmington for a non-league bout on Friday, March 25. Albuquerque will confront a Scorpions squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ). The Scorpions record now stands at 4-2.
