West Virginia High School Softball - Lewis County bounces Braxton County

March 19, 2022: Sutton, WV 26601

The Lewis County Minutemen routed the host Braxton County Eagles softball squad by a final score of 11-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Minutemen (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV). The Polar Bears go into the Big Ten battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Fairmont Senior was routed by Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV), 15-7, in a league battle.

The Eagles now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Roane County for a Little Kanawha battle on Tuesday, March 22.
