In Saturday's non-league contest, the Vardaman Rams (Vardaman, MS) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Bruce Trojans (Bruce, MS), by a margin of 15-7.

With the triumph, Vardaman moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Rams host Water Valley (Water Valley, MS) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 19. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a record of 1-6.

In their next game, the Trojans play the Calhoun City Wildcats (Calhoun City, MS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 19. Bruce will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
