North Augusta Yellowjackets (North Augusta, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC), 14-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Airport for a AAAA Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, March 22. North Augusta will face a Eagles squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Swansea (Swansea, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Catawba Ridge falls to 10-1 on the campaign. The Copperheads host Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC) to face the Warriors in a AAAA Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Indian Land lost 7-1 in their recent league challenge against Buford (Lancaster, SC)
