Texas High School Softball - Childress bounces Roosevelt

The Childress Bobcats (Childress, TX) softball routed the host Roosevelt Eagles (Lubbock, TX), 14-1 in Saturday's league bout.
The Bobcats (4-7) will now prepare for their bout against Abernathy (Abernathy, TX). The Antelopes go into the 3A Region I District 2 bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Abernathy notched a victory over Tulia (Tulia, TX), 14-12, in a league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Idalou for a 3A Region I District 2 contest on Tuesday, March 22. Roosevelt will play a Wildcats team coming off a 27-4 league win over Shallowater (Shallowater, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-5.
