The Fairfield Central Griffins crushed the visiting Columbia Capitals baseball team by a count of 21-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Griffins now possess a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Newberry for a non-league bout on Monday, March 25. Fairfield Central will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-3 league loss to Saluda (Saluda, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
Next, the Capitals face the Keenan Raiders (Columbia, SC) in a 2A Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, March 26. Columbia will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 7-0 record after their 0-0 non-league C.A. Johnson (Columbia, SC).
