The DeRidder Dragons baseball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting LaGrange Gators to 1 in the Dragons league victory on Tuesday.
The Dragons (11-8) will now prepare for their match against Leesville (Leesville, LA). The Wampus Cats go into the 4A District 3 match with a 6-8 record. In their last match, Leesville was overwhelmed by Westlake (Westlake, LA), 16-1, in a non-league match.
The Gators (6-9) will now prepare for their match against Abbeville (Abbeville, LA). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 2-7 record.
