The East Prairie Eagles crushed the visiting Malden Green Wave baseball team by a tally of 15-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Eagles now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Portageville for a Class 2 District 1 bout on Friday, March 22. East Prairie will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 13-12 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.

Next, the Green Wave face the Twin Rivers Royals (Broseley, MO) in a Class 3 District 1 bout, on Thursday, March 21. Malden will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Royals enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, MO).
