West Virginia High School Baseball - Scott sneaks past Hoover

March 19, 2024: Madison, WV 25130

Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) and the visiting Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), saw Scott's baseball squad edge Hoover by a count of 4-3.

Coming up next, the Skyhawks play the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) in a Cardinal battle, on Wednesday, March 20. Scott will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Wayne (Wayne, WV).

The Huskies now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Braxton County for a non-league battle on Monday, March 25. Hoover will play a Eagles squad coming off a 16-2 league win over Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
