North Carolina High School Baseball - Owen defeats Mitchell

March 19, 2024: Bakersville, NC 28705

Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC), 9-4 in a league test.

With the win, Owen upgrades its record to 1-6 on the season. The Warhorses host East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 20. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-5. East Henderson lost 9-8 in their recent non-league test against Brevard (Brevard, NC)

With the defeat, Mitchell falls to 3-4 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Owen (Black Mountain, NC) to battle the Warhorses in a Western Highlands 1A/2A test on Thursday, March 21. The Warhorses come into the test with a record of 1-7. Owen lost 16-5 in their recent non-league test against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC)
