The Port Barre Red Devils crushed the host Northwest Raiders baseball team by a count of 14-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Red Devils now possess a 4-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Church Point for a 3A District 4 bout on Thursday, March 21. Port Barre will face a Bears team coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Bears record now stands at 9-9.
Next, the Raiders face the Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) in a 3A District 4 bout, on Thursday, March 21. Northwest will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 15-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA).
