The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) and the visiting Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC), saw East Gaston's soccer squad knock off Shelby by a margin of 3-0.

The Warriors now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Highland Tech for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Tuesday, March 26.

With the loss, Shelby drops to 1-4 on the season. The Golden lions host Burns (Lawndale, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Thursday, March 21. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-6. Burns won 2-0 in their recent league test against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC)
