With the win, South Brunswick moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Ashley (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Screaming Eagle in a Mideastern 3A/4A bout on Thursday, March 21. The Screaming Eagle go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Ashley won 5-1 in their recent league bout against Laney (Wilmington, NC)

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A bout, on Friday, March 22. New Hanover will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 9-0 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC).
