East Clarendon Wolverines (Turbeville, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Johnsonville Flashes (Johnsonville, SC), 9-1 in a league challenge.

The Wolverines now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnsonville for a challenge on Friday, April 12.

With the loss, Johnsonville falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Flashes host Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Carolina Forest won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Sumter (Sumter, SC)
