The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA) and the visiting Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA), saw South Effingham's soccer squad knock off Effingham County by a margin of 5-2.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Evans for a 6A Area 2 test on Friday, March 22. South Effingham will meet a Knights squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA). The Knights record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Effingham County drops to 2-10 on the season. The Rebels host Lakeside (Evans, GA) to meet the Panthers in a 6A Area 2 test on Friday, March 22. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-8. Lakeside lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Grovetown (Grovetown, GA)
