The Rebels now sport a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Headland for a non-league match on Monday, March 25. Long will face a Rams squad coming off a 12-1 league win over Carroll (Ozark, AL). The Rams record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Ariton falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Purple cats host Abbeville (Abbeville, AL) to face the Yellowjackets in a 2A Area 3 match on Thursday, March 21. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 0-2. Abbeville lost 15-0 in their recent non-league match against Russell County (Seale, AL)
