The Ashbrook Greenwave softball team (Gastonia, NC), was routed 15-0 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC)

Coming up next, the Wildcats clash with the East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 20. North Gaston will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 12-9 league loss to Shelby (Shelby, NC).

The Greenwave (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers come into the Big South 3A test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Kings Mountain overcame Palisades (Charlotte, NC), 16-0, in a non-league test.
