Alabama High School Softball - Austin gets by Hartselle

March 19, 2024: Decatur, AL 35601

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) and the visiting Hartselle Tigers (Hartselle, AL), witnessed Austin's softball squad tip Hartselle by a count of 3-2.

The Black Bears now sport a 17-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bob Jones for a 7A Area 8 match on Thursday, March 21.

With the loss, Hartselle moves to 12-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL) to face the Huskies in a non-league match on Thursday, March 21. The Huskies go into the match with a record of 10-3. Hewitt-Trussville won 10-1 in their recent league match against Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL)
