The Bagdad Sultans softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting San Pasqual Valley Warriors to 1 in the Sultans league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Bagdad moves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Sultans host Mogollon (Heber, AZ) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, March 22. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 5-4. Mogollon won 19-5 in their recent league game against Hayden (Winkelman, AZ)

In their next game, the Warriors play the Desert Heights Prep Yote (Glendale, AZ) in a 1A West game, on Tuesday, March 26. San Pasqual Valley will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Yote come into the game with a 2-3 record after their 32-9 league win over Mayer (Mayer, AZ).
